I’ve got a number of such lists on the post-its on my desktop, and they are covering up my wallpaper making the idea of setting a wallpaper pretty redundant. So I’m trying to get rid of them by inserting here so that I can remove the yellow rectangles from covering Shailene Woodley’s face.

Hi!
Might I ask? How many years in total did you take to study Japanese in terms of formal lessons?
Hi Kel,
In terms of formal lessons, I studied for a full 6 years.
But then again, it’s really difficult to measure it that way because when I was studying in Singapore, my lessons were like 3 hours a week (which went on for around 5.5 years). And when I was studying in Japan, it was 22 hours a week (which went on for 6 months). So the number of hours I spent studying in Japan every week was more than 7 times the amount I spent studying back home. By the way, there was a 5-year hiatus between the Singapore classes and the Japan classes I took.
Hello Gaijinhan!
I actually have a friend who is interested to pursue singing/voice acting in Japan. If he wants to study at a voice acting school and work at the same time, how does he go about doing so? He only has a diploma by the way and is still learning Japanese.
If you need further details please do let me know!
Cheers!
Hello SayHello,
I think he should probably check out the school’s support for international students. I don’t think having a diploma or Bachelor’s should affect his chances of studying. And if the school accepts international students, they should also state the minimum Japanese language ability, if required.
