Halloween

Last year, I attended my first Halloween party as カオナシ(No Face) from Ghibli’s 千と千尋の神隠し (Spirited Away) where I couldn’t eat, drink nor see properly. Toward the end of the party, I decided to remove the outfit so that I could eat and people could hear me talk.

* Because I didn’t get their permission

This year, I joined the same group of people and as soon as I arrived (before dressing up), everyone asked if my costume allows people to see my face this year. I said no and realized maybe I should stick with a fully covered face costume every year hereafter. I changed into my 進撃の巨人 (Attack on Titan) titan costume and, like No Face, didn’t have an opening at the mouth area to eat or drink, but at least I could see clearly and drink without much problem as long as I have a straw.

Later that month, I went to Roppongi for a couple of friends’ birthdays dressed as titan again. When we walked along the streets where everyone was dressed in some sort of costume, people stopped us to take pictures together (although I don’t have any of those pictures since I didn’t use my camera). Some random women came up and asked if they could touch my butt (=_=;), a couple of girls attacked the back of my neck (because of the story), and this two other girls actually ran up from nowhere and gave me chocolate at 5am next morning when we were on our way home. Almost the entire train was packed with zombies, Disney characters, Marios, cute, funny, pretty, and scary looking people.

Best Halloween ever!
