When Japan started selling Tom Yum flavoured cup noodles, I was so excited, for a period of time, I was consuming two cups a week. Not very healthy I would say, but it tasted good. Every time I purchase something at the convenience store, I look at the items I am paying for and realise, the cashier probably can tell I live alone.
A couple of days ago, I saw a “Singapore-style laksa” flavour in 7-eleven.
So, a curious me decided to give it a try.
My former senior at the translation company used to say I am like a child, always wanting to try new things because I always buy funny drinks to the office for the simple reason that they are new releases. My rationale is, if you don’t give it a try, you’ll never know if you like it or not. Who knows, it could be the best thing ever for you.
Verdict of this though, it’s tasty but it’s not laksa. It basically tastes the same as regular cup noodles.
Don’t waste your money on this.
