Isn’t it more of a politeness thing, and a way the other guy is trying to go further with a conversation? =P
Hmm… I guess that could be it.
But the surprise showed when saying how young the girl is sounds like he’s much older (to me).
Wait, what?! I always thought you were a guy! Haha, sorry for that. (Not that it matters much, I guess =P)
Then, I think it was definetly something polite. At least, here in Mexico, we always say that whenever we hear, firsthand, the age of a woman. Women here love to hear that they look younger than they actually are. I would believe this is even more strong in Japan, where the girls want to look even younger.
Anyway, just read the gay toilet post. Haha, interesting.
