Perfect for those who want to visit the well known regions of Japan, plus Expo 2025 Osaka.

This tour consists of the Best of Japan itinerary and an additional day in Osaka for the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai.

Expo 2025 Osaka is a global event in Japan showcasing future technologies, cultural exhibits, and sustainability solutions. The event features national pavilions, an innovation zone, and artistic installations. Visitors can explore themes like future living, sustainability, and cultural exchange while enjoying entertainment and international cuisine. The Expo aims to foster collaboration and envision a better future.

Summer is the season of festivals in Japan. There are several prominent summer festivals throughout the country, but the Awa Odori (Awa Dance Festival) in Tokushima is the most famous of many dance festivals held across Japan. "Awa" is the former name for Tokushima Prefecture while Odori means dance. You can experience this tradition when joining this tour.

Our private guides and drivers will help you navigate Tokyo's cultural landmarks, fashionable neighborhoods, and diverse shopping districts. Learn how to make your own sushi with a professional sushi chef and savor your delicious creations. Explore attractions like the Asakusa district with an atmosphere of old Tokyo, Japan's largest and busiest fish market, drive by the historical Imperial Palace, and take in the view from the record- breaking Tokyo Skytree’s main observation deck.

Spend a day at Hakone and Mt. Fuji, then take a Shinkansen (bullet train) ride for experience before transfering to Hamanako Kanzanji Onsen. There you'll stay at an onsen hotel (Japanese style room), where you will have dinner and can unwind in the hot springs (onsen).

Visit Koka Ninja Mansion, a mansion used to be resided in by ninja, equipped with many ingenious traps and devices, designed to prevent intruders and to provide a means of escape in times of need. Then proceed to Miho Museum, a stunning architecture that accentuates the surrounding nature while exhibiting a variety of items from different ancient civilizations. It was designed by the renowned architect, I. M. Pei, and is named after Koyama Mihoko, one of the richest women in Japan and the founder of the museum. Moreover, the museum has been listed as one of the "1000 Places To See Before You Die".

Spend two days in the ancient city of Kyoto, where you will have exclusive access to the city's gardens, temples, shrines, and specialty shops. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a green tea ceremony with an apprentice geisha (maiko). We will then take you visit Nara, where you will be inspired by the intricate architecture and towering monuments, including the Great Buddha statue, and you'll understand why this city is considered the birthplace of Buddhism in Japan. From Nara, proceed to Osaka, you will visit Osaka Castle and have a chance to see why Osaka is called the "night life city".

After a lively experience in Osaka, we will then proceed to Kobe for some sake tasting at the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum. Then we will cross the Awaji Island via a chain of spectacular bridges to Shikoku Island. We will stop in at the Naruto Bridge Interpretive Center to learn about the largest natural whirlpool in Japan and the engineering that went into the construction of these enormous bridges. In Tokushima, visit the Awaodori Kaikan Hall to learn about the Awa Odori before enjoying the Awa Odori Festival in the evening. In Shikoku Island, we will also visit the open air museum of Shikoku Mura Village where we will clearly see why Japanese gardens are famous in Takamatsu. Afterwards, you can enjoy a relaxing boat ride, and take in the panoramic views of the Oboke Gorge.

From Shikoku Island, we will drive through the Shimanami Kaido, a 60 kilometer long toll road that connects Japan's main island of Shikoku to the island of Honshu, passing over six small islands in the Seto Inland Sea, back to Honshu Island. Proceed to Hiroshima where you’ll visit the Peace Memorial Museum and surrounding Peace Park. On Miyajima Island, you will have a chance to view the famed 'floating' Torii Gate of Itsukushima Shrine. Visit the photogenic canal area of Kurashiki and the majestic castle at Himeji. On this tour you will also have a chance to savor the world famous Wagyu beef in Kobe.
