Be immerses in the samurai, garden and art culture of Japan.

On this tour you will be traveling to the best castles, gardens and art places in Japan. The highlights include three locations that have been listed in CNN’s top 31 most beautiful places in Japan which are Motonosumi-Inari Shrine, Tottori and Takeda Castle Ruins. Motonosumi Inari Shrine has 123 red torii gates situated on the side of a mountain with the Sea of Japan in the background. Tottori has the largest sand dunes in Japan that have were cultivated thousands of years ago. The Takeda Castle Ruins are said to be the Machu Picchu of Japan as it is built 353 meters above sea level. These locations are famous among Japanese natives, but are hard to reach for foreigners. This tour will give you the opportunity to visit these hidden gems.

For art you will be travelling to the famed Naoshima and visit the museums on the island. In addition to this tour you will be going to various art museums that have beautiful gardens available like the Adachi Museum of Art in Matsue. This tour will also be going to the Kiseki no Hoshi Botanical Museum on Awaji Island where the beautiful garden exhibits express a lifestyle of coexistence with nature. Included with your travels is one of Tadao Ando's, a famous architect, works known as Water Temple on Awaji Island.

You will also have a chance to visit two of the twelve original castles in Japan. The original castles date back to feudal times and have not been reconstructed or damaged by war, fires, and earthquakes. Matsue Castle nicked named Black Castle and Himeji Castle also known as White Heron are a sight that will not disappoint. Experience the history, culture, and environment of the Japan by joining this tour.
