大切なことはすべて君が教えてくれた

For the crazy followers of Japanese drama, you might have good resources to find out what’s going on on the Japanese TV here, but for those who enjoy it enough to want to watch the new shows yet are not as resourceful like myself (I get a lot of information from other people, honestly!), here’s some sneaks into the latest drama airing on Fuji TV in Tokyo and Tokai TV in Aichi every Monday @ 9pm (where I am).

The title is ridiculously long. 「大切なことはすべて君が教えてくれた」 which roughly translates to “You taught me all the precious things”, is about a high school teacher played by 三浦春馬 (Miura Haruma) engaged to fellow teacher played by 戸田恵梨香 (Toda Erika). They were seen as the perfect couple by both the school staff and the students but on the morning of the new school term, Miura found himself to have slept with someone he couldn’t recognise and upon arrival in school, learnt that his one-night-stand was in fact a student from his new homeroom class played by 武井咲 (Takei Emi).

Takei who appears to have had met with some accident prior, visits the doctor regularly and befriended a nurse who later found out about her relationship with Miura and was adamant to disclose the affair. While on the way to school, she mailed to inform Takei about her intention but promised to not reveal the latter’s name. In a hurry to stop the nurse, Takei left her mobile phone open on the class table to be picked up by a fellow classmate who unintentionally chanced upon the picture of a topless Miura asleep in his bed on the night of the affair. Having been caught, Miura confesses the incident to the outraged class and apologises to the staff at the school.

Meanwhile, his engagement with Toda hangs in the balance. Although both declared that they couldn’t imagine a life without the other, the incident results in Toda being unable to look Miura in the face.

That’s as far as episode 4 has told. The next episode on Monday is supposedly going to reveal the truth on what happened on the night of the affair. So, do watch it if you’re interested. Don’t ask me if you can find it on D-Addicts. I shall not promote piracy.
