Do women get annoyed by the loud clickety-clacks their heels make as they walk along tiles, or the deafening CLANGs as they walk down escalators?
Even if they do, I’m sure they get used to it real fast. The one thing attending several weddings in the past few months has taught me is that women are willing to go to extraordinary lengths, even physical discomfort, to look good.
LOL, I guess that applies to men as well. I’m sure we’ve seen guys wearing sweater despite the Singapore heat =\
Woman here. I get annoyed. Tiles are more ok, but heels make exceptionally loud noises when on the escalators. I think that’s why most of them in heels usually stand, rather than walk up/down the escalator. And that’s why i go with flats 😛
With regards to what KL says above, it’s slightly different because weddings are usually carpeted grounds and elevators. And if they’re lucky to be driven, perfect. But I suppose the Hokkien phrase ai sui mai mia was not invented for no reason.
Oh, so it annoys women too. Great revelation.
Sometimes when those in heels run after the train clanging their way down the escalators, I just wonder if their eardrums hurt as much as mine.
